FAQ Ear Correction

How is the operation performed?

The ear cartilage is modelled, brought into a normal shape and stitched together.

Will there be visible scars?

The incision is made on the back of the ear, so that it is hidden. Furthermore, skin heals so well in this area, that scars are very subtle and hardly visible any ways.

How long do I have to wear a bandage?

On the day of the operation, a tight bandage is worn that serves as a prophylactic against swelling and bruising. The day after the operation, a lighter bandage follows, that is worn for 2 weeks. After this, a bandage is worn only at night for further 2 weeks.
