Tummy tuck procedure creates a flatter abdomen through the removal of excessive skin and bulging fat and muscles caused by weight loss, pregnancy or hereditary dispositions.

During an initial consultation our specialist will inform you about chances and possibilities of tummy tuck surgery. Following a thoroughly examination he will advise you an operation method and possible combination of different surgeries that suit you best.

Tummy tuck surgery is performed with a horizontal incision in the lower abdomen within the bikini line. To achieve natural results tummy tuck procedure often is combined with liposuction surgeries. The surgeon removes excess fat, shortens abdominal muscles and trims the excess skin. In classical procedures a further incision is needed to reposition the navel. A partial abdominoplasty can be conducted with only one incision in the bikini line. Classical tummy tuck procedures take about two to five hours whereas the modified version can be done in one to two hours.

In the first three month up to half a year scars may look worse than directly after surgery. When the healing process is closed they will be nearly invisible.
