How long does this treatment take?

What are the slitgraft, roundgraft or mini- or micrograft methods?

These are different transplantation techniques that we combine or use separately, depending on the hair situation. The slitgraft technique uses small, thin incisions. This technique is best for thick hair. Roundgrafts are tiny, round transplants. This method looks particularly natural and the direction of hair growth is very easy to guide. The mini-micro-graft method involves the removal of hair roots from the areas where the hair is still thick, and the redistribution of them to areas where bald spots exist, on the front or middle of the head. The area where the hair is removed from is left with barely any traces of the operation.


Is the treatment painful?

No. The treatment is performed with local anaesthesia. It is usually less unpleasant than a visit to the dentist.


Is there post-operation discomfort?

The first few days after a transplantation are a bit uncomfortable. In addition to swelling in the forehead area, you may feel slight pain in the donor area, and a headache. But within a week, these complaints disappear.


Is hair transplantation possible for everyone?

Generally, yes. To be exact, whenever the hair loss is due to hormones, and not disease. Women can also have hair transplantation performed- but only if the hair loss is not due to disease.
