FAQ Forehead Lift

Can a Forehead-lifting be done without causing long scars?

The scars caused by a forehead-lift are located either on the scalp or on the hairline, and due to this are barely visible. Even less scars are caused by using the endoscope technique. However, the best results come from a consequential open subcutaneous forehead-lift.

How long does it take to heal?

Between the 5th and 9th day after the operation the stitches are removed. Against the expectation of many patients, only minimal swelling, pain and discoloration is caused by the bruising. Towards the end of the second postoperative week, the discolorations can already be covered with makeup.

What must one pay attention to after the operation?

For around 3 weeks you should avoid sports, sun, saunas and tanning booths as well as chemical hair treatments.
