Is plastic surgery of the nose very painful?

Although extensive work is done on cartilage and bones, only a few patients experience pain. The well-being is usually only impaired by slight swelling and non-permanent discomfort in nasal breathing.


Can I see what my new nose will look like before the operation?

With the aid of a computer program, the experienced surgeon can show the patient photographic simulations of the effects of the operation. This improves the communication in the preoperative consultation and offers a similar version of the expected results, but should not be misunderstood as a precise copy of the nose after operation.


Are there visible scars after nose surgery?

Most nose operations are performed from the inside of the nose, so the scars cannot be seen.
