Inlays (gold/porcelain)

As an alternative to normal fillings made of amalgam or plastic inlay are a high-quality, stable, aesthetically pleasing and permanent treatment for tooth defects.

Inlays can be made out of different materials such as gold, porcelain, combinations of the two (galvanoinlays) or plastic. A dental laboratory makes the inlays based on an individual mold made by your dentist, so that the match your tooth and jaw shape perfectly. Inlays allow permanent sanitizing of sick teeth.

Due to the attributes of the material, plastic is only of limited use for side teeth, and also doesn’t last as long as galvanoinlays or porcelain inlays.
