Bridges
Missing teeth not only create an ugly gap, they also cause other teeth to leave their position, and start to "wander", which leads to far-reaching problems, at the worst, changes of the jawbone.Over time, teeth from the other jaw grow into the gap, and neighbouring teeth can slowly erode into the gap. A bridge is a functional and aesthetic solution. It reattatches two teeth that are separated by a gap. A bridge is a good solution if the gap is surrounded by teeth that are healthy and stable. These are then polished and used to attach the bridge. This way, the tooth to be replaced, consisting of metal crowns, ceramic blend crowns or partial crowns can be anchored onto the surrounding teeth.
